I Weave

I need to weave all my fantasies
keeping me safe from realities
Closing eyes to the world for a while
I’ll spin a dream to bring forth a smile

Walk with the man I love hand in hand
while toes are tickled by golden sand
To feel the sun warm upon our face
and know the passion of love’s embrace

Wish on the first star seen at night
to be in the arms of shining knight
Capture moonbeams to keep for our own
as we venture into love’s unknown

We’ll ride the winds over mountains high
where never our love will we deny
Feel the burning of love’s inner fire
giving in to what our hearts desire

I’ll weave me a fantasy today
chasing all the hurt and pain away
So into a world where love comes true
I’ll go so that my heart can renew

Ah, Karen. Your fantasies are contagious. And do not be surprised when you girls run in to me up there wandering in the stars. I spend a lot of time up there. And I keep looking around. Looking for you.

Karen,
you wove a weave of starlight. You fly high above and turn fantasies into dreams and then reality.
Beautiful!
