For Someone's Friend

You died yesterday
In a subtle
Self-inflicted way
And left behind
An aching man
Who found you there
In another land
I don't know how
To say the words
To comfort him
To ease burdens.

We never met
I knew your place
And understand
That horrid space
And why you left
On your request
But left behind
An injured man
Who struggles now
To understand
Why a friend
Wouldn't take his hand.

In two hours talk
I traveled back
To my horrid walk
That darkened path
To show this man
The reason for
Your inevitable plan
I do not judge
It's not my place
Life is a trudge
For human race.

But why Valentine's Day...

Please, know
You are not forgotten.

Thanks Serenity. I just wish their were words. The whole thing is just plain messed up. I'm just guiltily frustrated, because I want to fix it and can't.

(tears fall down my cheeks) Oh my gosh, this is sooooooo heartbreaking, my heart goes out to you and I pray that comfort and healing can come to you and your friends friends! We cannot repair the losses others endure but we can ease their comfort and learn from them. My heartfelt condolences at this sad moment.

Ohhhh Amusemi, sigh.

Please, don't touch this.  It is a piece of healing, and it would change
the moment if you did change it.  I firmly believe that when poetry is
written from soulful lament, true despair, it should be allowed to stand
as it is:  wonderfully beautiful in its own write.

Helplessness, frustration and loss are very heavy emotions to handle. Some things just don't rhyme. Good thoughts your way, amusemi...

How sad. I know how lonely life can feel, but still, what a desperate thing to do. And it always affects someone else, something for everyone to bear in mind. Take care.
