In quiet moments by some trick acoustics it occurs to me,
I hear the the tick and hum of some elusive ghost machinery,
whose constant pulse does mimic mine, by gimmick or by circumstance,
'til urged as if by grand design, we merge in a surreal dance.

The motion of the dancer sways to notions of the gears which spin.
Emotion matters not, nor fears, the cadence knows that it will win,
and so we dance, this ghost machine, enhanced, but not enough to tell,
one step away from what it means, that which eludes
us much as well.

Smiling..once again you read so easy, and offer up some intricate ideas in a deceptively "simple" construct.

I always love the message of your work, but the details are amazing. You know your stuff, Doc!

Those wheels seem to stay in synch even we we move out of gear. I enjoyed reading this one, it stimulated my gears.

serenity,
Thanks so much. There seems to be something about iambic tetrameter that draws me to it.
To me, it's almost like a second language. That, coupled with an internal rhyme scheme,
just rolls right off the tongue.thanks again.
Doc

Coming from one who obviuosly enjoys words as much as I, this is high praise indeed. Many thanks.
