“ROMANCE MOUNTAIN”
by
Bill Charles
~~~~
Climbed a high peak today,
asked you to come along…
Just wanted to talk some,
being together, to belong…
Knew the feelings of my insides,
wasn’t sure yours were the same…
Held you tight in a soft breeze,
chilling but gentle, as it came…
Touched and felt warm lips,
moist they were, as the dew…
Soft also with desire,
only have been so very few…
Left the high place that day,
hands held tight, not to abandon…
Love is what we had found,
high, on romance mountain…
This is sounding almost as romantic as Starimes beaches.
Nice write, Bill. I could almost like the mountains after this.
Bill darling boy you are wonderful and this is utterly utterly outstanding writing, I love this poem it is utterly absolutely perfect, it flows so beautifully like a song in my heart, as I said this is perfect
This is one of your absolute best. I love it when you write my heart and when it’s as fabulous as this one it is doubly welcome
I love it
Another for my library
