She Writes Dedicated to Passions Lady Poets She writes her pen runs over the page fast and free Never seeming to pause at all to wait for me And I running fast try to catch up with her pen My words tumbling over in their haste and then She lets fly with a write of such amazing beauty And I am stunned into saying I love this utterly She writes and I'm left behind to clap and cheer I'm left to say well done, fabulous writing dear She writes her words scampers about with glee She never tires of writing such wondrous beauty And I stand still and simply gawk with awe Then beg her to write please write some more I try to match her lesser words but it's no use My words aren't there and the rhyme's too loose She writes and I'm left to wonder how she can I'm left saying oh dear if I weren't who I am She writes her pen dancing with words' delight She speaks of wonder and the starry night And I can't stop my eyes from leaking tears When her words illumine me and show my fears I'll never have the talent that she can call And my words won't dance they'll simply fall She writes and I'm left heaving a long sad sigh I'm left as her golden words fly long and high Marsha To give light to them that sit in darkness..... to guide our feet into the way of peace Luke 2:79 [This message has been edited by Marsha (02-15-2002 03:44 PM).] |

Marsha, I love the way you write! To me, you are an exciting inspiration, a living breating fiery Queen of Lady Poets, flying high in the sky of burning desire, with a flaming fire, that is unquenchable. And isn't this fire of desire, God's power of poetry? Never, ever put yourself down. God gave each one of us, unique exciting gifts of talents and beauty. And he especially smiled on women, and I believe favored you, among them. Remember, that all of us are uniquely different and wonderfully made splenid! So you should never ever want to write like anyone else. Sure, admire and complement their fine, but different words, works and ways. But you, my dear, should only, always write from the wondrous music God put in your own soul, as Marsha, as Mushy! Releasing that burning exploding flaming fire from within your heart and soul. Marsha, as I read this I wondered to myself how you could think this way...when it is the way I feel! You Mushy Girl are the one who can rhyme devine!! Just about everything I write is free verse, and I look at yours and wish that I could do that just once! I wonder if we all look at others writing and feel somewhat in awe?
