Written for those who fear their own name

Why do you try to destroy me on your doubts of my creativity
Your words cry out with the vengeance of a lost soul
Trapped in the quagmire of uncertainty with howling wolves
Who rips away at your self respect like a piece of raw flesh

You stand isolated with the name Anonymous
For no other name will claim you in pride
Except for Diarrhea for the way you run your mouth
And then hide in the bushes
Waiting for people to step on your work
Like the low down dog you who cowers so
With its tail inside itself in the fear of laughs

You claim my work worthless in ghostly script
To then fade away in shame of a battle lost
You are the shadow of prejudice
That makes slaves of people comments
To lower their self respect in the chains of other peoples eyes
Seeing truth in innuendo of lies of filth

My name is D.Lester, Dave or David
Or what ever beautiful name you give me full of my pride
I am a White Eagle flying high to swirl in your mind on its own flight
I am a poet in the love of verse creating the softness to feel your insides
Explode in the fireworks of each one of your names glowing
And how special they are in the magic of their creation
Not hiding and displaying in the winds like an American flag

Yes Anonymous we have dealt with you throughout time
You have taken the lives of billions for fear of standing on your own
You have ruined the lives of persons of good will
And stood as the foot soldier of the monsters that slaughtered and pillaged us
They may even end up with their own grave marker
That just says Anonymous
And that is all we know

I wouldn't waste too much breath on the snakes below. It is too bad that there are a few jealous souls out there who prefer to spit venom, but do not have the courage to show themselves in the light.

Hey Dave,
I used to be "a nonny mouse' before I became Kethry. It's no bad place to be. Don't bother to look I didn't have the courage to post anything. I liked your rant.

Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind.  Unknown
