A dry vast desert--
begging rain
sands of time
count every grain
each memory
a point of pain
falling
in a glass contained.

North to south--
the river flows...
rivulets
cling in the globe.
All above,
re-forms below;
falling
in a glass, contained.

There is substance
in clear sphere--
what was once there--
now is here.
Top heavy
with the weight of fear
falling
in a glass, contained...

Grains of sand are reprimand.
Flip the glass and live again.

If poems like these are the result--I am going to have to have a talk with her myself.

Now how did this slip through time so darn fast in here, this was a fantastic metaphorically composed poem serenity.

Amazing. I sit in my living room and gaze at my hourglass often with all sorts of thoughts, none of which came out this fluently.
Enjoyed.

Very nice and so true
Let's keep on flipping
as long as we take the good with us

The ability to describe life with words is similar to painting a picture; both can be powerful tools.
