I amble in a field that once thrived
with daisies that danced in the sun
But now, so many have been plucked
and springtime is just about done

Echoes of she loves me, she loves me not,
are the reason this field is so bare
Their yellow petals flutter pass my eyes
as lovers send them into the air

And I only wish to find one,
a daisy that is still in full bloom
For I want to join in the echo
that will allow my heartbeat to resume

But my eyes and hands are too late
as this field keeps withering away
The petals now lying at my feet
The words she loves me, I’ll never say

(smiles) We all love you so much, sweet freind, HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet friend, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

when no daisies can be found
look for clover on the ground
say i love you when you begin
pull just three to hear it again

Noah - Hopefully, you are right, because my heart's meadow definitely needs some sun.lol  Thanks for the read.

Jamie - I think I might take your advice.  Besides picking clovers is a lot less work then picking the numerous petals off a daisy, and my time is valuable.lol  Thank you for checking this out.

I like to think the seeds will blow in the right direction and someday
I will stand dead center in a meadow of flowers and become one,
surround by love.  Or something like that!

Perhaps we won't need to say or hear the words, we will simply know.

*sigh* I know and share these feelings so beautifully expressed in your words....I have just accepted that I can enjoy the flowers but not pick them....so I weave the sweet fragrance of love though there is none to enjoy its essence...**big hugs**

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.

Dave darling boy, I haven’t got any daisies darling heart, what can I use as a substitute, Mmmmm let me see, it would have to be multiple of three, …… how about your jacket tie and shirt? Well, it’s a hot day, or it would be if I were there wicked grin You knew I’d say that didn’t you? Mmm of course darling boy

You know I love this don’t you? Of course you do now go and write something I can keep up with. This is beauty to rich and fair for everyday use. Absolutely perfect writing

Dave,
I tried to send you daisies before, but the chain broke and my puter loves me not - it chewed me up and spat me out. So no daisies but *HuGS* instead for the clever and poignant write.

Out searching for Daisies again when you should be looking at the Irises?  I understand. I favor wildflowers, especially the quiet ones you almost miss the first time around. Your flower is out there.

Mysteria - Thanks again.  I have picked so many petals, that now I am onto the stems and ripping off little pieces in hope that the final rip will be she kind of thinks I'm alright under certain lighting.lol

Also, thanks to everyone else who gave this one a read, but I know each of you picked a daisy to determine if you liked this or not.
