A Poet’s Bump
By Larry Chadwick

It’s just a little *bump*,
That seems so very small.
But when it’s used right,
It’s the sweetest of them all.

It takes such little effort,
And it means so very much.
Four letters on the keyboard,
That gives the nicest touch.

When poems are flying by,
And one is so far down.
You’d be surprised how quick,
That poet gives up their frown.

So give a little *bump* today,
It’s a simple thing for you to do.
It’ll put a smile on a poets face,
And place one on yours too!

(big hugggsssssss) Awwwwwww, this is so sweet of you to say this, sweet friend, I too know how you feel, for when I first came to this site for 8 straight months I never had a poem that got more than 5 replies and it bothered me so as though no one cared about me like everyone else, so now I always love to give those who get less a chance with a bump to bring them a smile and in return I have found my poems gaining too! (smiles) We all love you so much, sweet friend, this is wonderful, HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Larry, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Larry darling boy, how much do I love this little rhyme of yours? Very very much. And you know I’ll always bump if I see you falling, I’ve done it before and I’ll keep doing it too. I don’t mind if my name appears more than once, if a poem is good, and yours always are then it deserves to be on the first page being bumped constantly. It’s a shame but so many poems dash by without being read properly, these pages move so fast.

Anyway this will be bumped a lot, I love it

Oh how I wish I could write like this. Absolutely wonderful writing I love it

Sliding, slithering, sinking down
I'm filled with such dismay
My poem is invisible
To all but me today!
The time I spent (five whole minutes! *G*)
Has surely gone to waste
As my words seek oblivion
With unbecoming haste.

I enjoyed this much, Larry. *S* Give 'em a bump, not the boot! *S*
