where the heart finds me

0 posted 2002-02-14 08:36 PM

It was wrong, I think
to don a cowl and hide
from the choicest ruby vision
two jewels of passion boring like firebrands
that could satisfy my essence with hastened pledge

but yet, there you stood, waiting for me
your hand on balcony and my heart
as you watched the silence like a harvest thrashed

oh peerless loveliness
looking downward, ever vigilant, ever bold
draw me into your fisher's net
consume me

balanced on point of a star
with a halo of white fire lighting your face
I breathe daring wishes of completion
ascend the sacred stairs
ardor unchained in my breast
and witness with a kiss of lips
heaven's mysteries

How's my reggae?  Madame, that was so very kind
of you to drop a new mystical gif my way with your

Thank you Corinne!  Your poem really was a beautiful
description of Kentucky.   Is the grass really blue there?
That must be awesome!

I enjoyed the romance in your words.
What a nice poem for Valentine's Day.
