A Worship Template "The Queen of the South will rise at the judgment with this generation and condemn it; for she came from the ends of the earth to listen to Solomon's wisdom, and now one greater than Solomon is here." NIV Matthew 12:42 When tribes ruled the earth And a man would seek his God Did God's voice guide him? Teach him some knowledge And let him define doctrine A belief system? A Worship Template To call all men back to God And create order. ***** As tribes expanded Battled for territories Prayed to God for wins. Did God help who sought With fiery love in a heart God's chosen people? ***** Man reaped what he sowed. Sorrow; sickness, sadness, pain Pollution, disease. Made many Worship Templates To catalog history Speaking of God's Love. Building cathedrals Monuments to the heavens Without Love's Spirit. Enslaving women In bondage to man's worship As men made more wars. ***** Templates of Worship Cannot satisfy man's soul Only God, Women Have Powers of Love In God's Soul to understand Truth, Mercy, Freedom. In a love affair Going to God directly In passionate fire. Without a Worship Template. Newell darling boy, I utterly love this poem, this is so multifaceted there is much in this to ponder and consider. YOU are an incredible writer, truly outstanding darling boy. This is soooooooooooo good but sometimes even the best superlatives in the dictionary don’t suffice. This is one of those times You’ve painted a wonderful picture here, each line a brushstroke bringing the painting to vibrant life as only YOU can do so. As I said outstandingly good. Interloper, thanks for your dropping in. My thought here was that Christ was using the example of the Queen of Sheba, a woman seeking truth, to teach us to understand the nature of true love of God. "When the queen of Sheba heard about the fame of Solomon and his relation to the name of the LORD, she came to test him with hard questions." NIV 1 Kings 10:1 For, I believe that it is the seeking of truth that prepares us to love God with all our heart, mind and soul as we are commanded to do.
