Valentine Be Mine

The cold wind blows this night with lonely sighs
And winters grip holds dear this wondrous land
But I do wish in haste these days rush by
For warmth of heart will glow with hand in hand;

A week or more this dream within your arms
And nerves long gone help not to dare this wish
My trust to fate that love waits from afar
And you the gift of cupids arrows Kiss;

Although I try to hold this dream in check
Determined I will fly where palm winds blow
And nothing, save a crash and tragic wreck
Will deny me, this need this want this goal.

Till then I’ll sing the songs of wintertime
If you my love would be my valentine.

This is indeed lovely P-man...
yes..."throw caution in to the wind"
isnt that how you said it, Im sure it was poetry no matter ROFL
anyway...YES ... deliver the kiss in person..waaay better than flowers
beautiful sonnet P-man ...write us all a happy ending.

Some find subtlety in strangers,
some find subtlety in alone.
Your eyes, you see everything,
my eyes, I see it all together now ... and I know.

P,
Take the sonnet with you when you go to claim the kiss, it's a heart softener for sure.

Parker-
This is beautiful, my friend.
I have a feeling your Valentine will be
waiting with open arms, and plenty of kisses.
How could she not?
Happy Valentine's Day to you..
Hugs,
~Vicky

Well, if she doesn’t say yes to being your valentine with this beautiful sonnet, then she’s a fool. And, somehow, I don’t think she’s a fool.

If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please?
