Wanderlust

I’ve touched my toes in southern seas
And froze my nose in mountains freeze
I’ve railed and shipped and drove and flew
As far as any man I knew.

I’ve talked to every type of man
Listened to every type of plan.
And lived a little of each one
As time allowed till I was done.

I’ve done some things I think were good
In how and what I understood.
But never have I met a man
That lived his life without a plan.

And now I’ve come to think on mine
And here I’ve had to draw the line.
I cannot pick the bad from good
It’s all in how it’s understood.

It seems a circle in partial bend
A circle with and without an end

Sy, it's a good poem, but what is the last line meant to say?

Keth,
To me eternity seems to be a circle. Even change sings the same song. It's in the abyss
have a look, but don't fall in. LOL

A circle with and end?
Interesting thought, but I dunno.
Love the idea of your work, Sy

In the understand of plan
befits the life of "just a man"
who doesn't hold the mirror close
yet he waxes quite verbose

He allows the need for each seed
to sow along and without greed
he shares his wit and wisdom real
allowing us to feel his feel

And in his circle of all content
I would allow, he's Heaven Sent...

Very good, Sy.....I don't know if you knew this but when Jewish people get married, their wedding rings are supposed to be plain gold bands without anything etched on them or anything interrupting the solidness of the ring because the uninterrupted ring symbolizes eternity.

It sounds like you have a plan to live eternally.....Now, thats a good plan, but you will get to be awfully OLD if you live that long.
