The second persona of Poet deVine:

I'm currently working with Murdoch University in Australia; helping their Forensic Science class with crime scenes and solutions.

Not so oddly, my favorite place to hang out is the Library and have met some wonderful people there - it's staffed by volunteer librarians from around the world and they are a crazy bunch of people (most of them).

One of my favorite dance clubs is 'Runaround Sue' where they play music from the 50's and 60's. The dance animations are superb!

I settled into a nice lot on a mountain overlooking a river. I've got a horse named Maya Angelou and a bloodhound named Shakespeare.

As you'll see from the photos I've met the man of my dreams! A little older than me but such a giving man! Unfortunately he only comes to Florida once a year..well he only goes anywhere once a year! Can you find him?

Take care my friends...I read here often and send my 'Second Life' friends to you. Take care of them.

This looks dangerously cool.

Addictively cool.

Do you have to know what you're doing to get a second life? (That's right--I'd need an idiot-proof second life. )

Looks like fun though!

Loving this...you're having way too much fun, Sharon! I hope it leads you to many great adventures.

And about that strange man in the red suit...he seems, well, hmmm, oddly familiar!

I miss you guys here to but I needed a kick in the butt to get my muse back.

And yes, Balladeer, it is kinky...NOT. LOL Somehow I think you would enjoy SL...it's a very creative place. I met a real artist from Portugal the other day - have his website if you're interested. We talked for a bit and then he took me to this open area where he had built a replica of his painting! You walk through the 'canvas' painting and step right into a 3D version of it! I'd seen something like this before with Vincent Van Gogh's work. There's a whole 'sim'(simulation) area with his work that you can walk in. Amazing.

So much has been written about SL - Second Life...it does have it's seedy side but then everything in  life does. But to me, it's the most amazing place in the world..everyone can be an artist! I've done a couple of freeform sculptures here. And now I'm working on a calendar to support the library - next month we do our Relay for Life Cancer fundraiser..

Yes I know..I can do all this in Florida..but I can't meet the people here that I meet in SL....from all over the world..differences are set aside and we life in a society that is tolerant and accepting. And there's the dreamer in me..

Take care...still love you!

Well it had to happen..we've formed a dancing group ..it will either be the 'Dancing Librarians' or Cumber Bunz.  The first pic shows just 4 of us in line at the international reference desk. Then we got a bit too big for that space and took the show to a club called Flirtz. I'm second from the right in both pics - wore white hair to coordinate with the other lady in the line.

Someone is going to do a video of us so when that's posted on YouTube I'll send you all a link.

The Rocky and Cindy mentioned in the story are a part of a group I belong to...the memorial to their daughter is amazing.
