You held my hand to save me from a fall You tickled me to chase my tears away You held me tight to make me feel secure You screamed my name to save my life from harm I turned from you to find my voice of freedom I left your home to find a path of my own I came back to you to beg on hands and knees You embraced me tight to welcome me back home Failure isn't failure if a lesson from it is learned ~ KS |
