It's hot...
steam rises within
causing smooth brown
to glisten

tendrils lay
slick to neck
pushed away as I walk
to the open bay window

leaning on the sill
eyes closed, inhaling deeply
a breeze cools my skin
bringing a hint of salty
sea not far away

I gently rotate my neck
Gauzy, whispy, sheer
white thing I wear
lifting this way & that
at the gentle coaxing of the wind

it's hot...
there you are
resting quietly against
bamboo head board
watching me

your eyes
bring me to you
no spoken word needed
touch says it all

Your fingers
thru my hair
as I shake it back
my neck, an open invitation
exotic, indeed, erotic

It's hot
the heat claims me
you, us,
in this faraway place
where heat is welcome
as is succumbing
to the heat
that draws me
to you
