We need some inspirational phrases or something to work with here. Any ideas?

How about tonight?

I've got some ideas.  Do we post them in here and then prepare something for this evening?  Or do we bring them up this evening and write them on the spot?

How does it work?  I've never been to one.

The first time we did it, we were all on ICQ. The second time, someone posted a list of phrases and we wrote them from that for that night. The ICQ thing was fun because it was more spontaneous. But not everyone is available to do that.

If you like, put together a list of phrases and post them about 7 pm Central time. I'll send a few emails to see if anyone is available...or if you talk to members, invite them. I'll be here!! (My muse needs a kick in the butt)

ah...

I don't use ICQ.  Maybe to encourage participation we should allow some preparation time by posting the theme early... ya know, put it into Family Dialogue and if we get enough participation, all post at some set time that evening.

I'm one of those people who doesn't do spontaneity very well.

I'd love to come, but I don't know if I'll be around. I'll try.

LP, why don't we just say that anyone who wants to can post a list of phrases here in Sanctuary and we'll do a WEEKEND of phraseology? That will give everyone a chance to write at least one poem.

So? Everyone submit your list of phrases!!

great idea, PDV.  I have a few:

1.  My lips are sore from missing you.
2.  Brushed into calm.
3.  Dying at my mercy.
4.  Eyes approved.
5.  I can see my house from here.
6.  Love and lemonade.
7.  Lemonade and loathing.
8.  Collect all twelve.
9.  Kiss the abyss.
10.  Run me another bath.
11.  Everything you know is a placebo.
12.  Charity floats.
13.  Protect yourself from the sun.
14.  Here and now in the silence.
15.  Auto-stay.

Almost all of these are things I read on stuff lying around my room, most of which are stickers on my dresser drawer.  I sometimes get inspiration this way.  I'll be interested to see if any of my ideas are taken up, though I sincerely doubt it.

Red pail
Ringing bell
Tinkle of coin
In throng of join

Sea of giving
If heart is living
In ocean of wool coats
Charity floats

Just a quickie....I'll post some more later.

PDV - NICE one...   post some of these in haven, when you're pleased with em... I like "charity floats," it's on a sticker on my dresser that I got for buying a root-beer float from an Easter Seals thing that was being done at Safeway, called "Charity Floats."  I like the way "floats" can be made a verb, to say, charity floats... hehe...

Oh, and as for Ron's suggestion?

It wasn't that hard...

PDV - You might want to change the name of this thread so that it's a bit more attention-grabbing?

It would be more convenient than starting a whole new thread altogether for phrase suggestions.

- frazzled yellow will make no haste.

- a day in the life of a tetris junky.

- over and above these futile fears.

- his toothless grin mocking me in the discolight.

- through the glass door, eyes shatter on the bloodless floor.

- aqua-marine fantasies.
