Ya know, I was just quietly reading this thread, wasn't going to respond.  Then Christopher had to go and take it there.
This was a fun read...all of it.
What was the original topic?  lol

"But experience suggests those quiet ones, when they finally decide to leave their self-imposed corner, have the potential to nova."

Ron, that is /gorgeous/! and its true, you know, especially if their shoes are untied.

Hmmmmmm.... As autumn falls and winter looms ahead - and all the squirrels and chipmunks are sequestering their nuts for the season - One thing I've learned for sure - Even though they taste really good...

They're not the only thing that's good for dinner - The salad is just as good without them - Nuts are definitely optional..

Self-imposed?

Ah...that could stand up for a bit of debate.  But the sentence still stands if those two words were left out, and I do enjoy the thought of this.

Interesting...very interesting. Sometimes it pays to be quiet and listen. You learn a lot this way.

In my quieter moments, I like the phrase "A foolish man speaks. A wise man listens."

I guess I vacillate between the two, hm?

And no comment on the "I was a little girl" post. My girlfriend last night called me more femme than her!!!

I prefer Wendy's myself. Carl's Jr. made me sick a few years ago so I avoid the place. Have a nice lunch!

There's hardly any Wendy's in Southern California.

I can always go to In 'N' Out if I don't mind the line (they should call it In 'N' In 'N' In 'N' In 'N' In 'N' In 'N' Out).

McDonald's makes me physically nauseous. Whenever I eat their "food," I feel like I have to throw up after.

Carl's Jr. is okay, but I so prefer Subway. Ah ha! Perfect!

*headin' to lunch for real, now*

Mm, give me a foot long turkey and ham with everything (including avocado and pepperccini), on wheat or one of those specialty breads, if so inclined.

It's great though, 'cause of my height? I seem to bring out the nurturing side of female servers. They pack my subs so full, contents are spilling out the side.

Um..........................................

I think I need to reread Unripe words. Much of what I just said could be taken out of context to hilarious effect.

Or affect, if you've got problems. (wha?)

Watched some media analyst on MSN tonight..it was so obvious he was wearing a hairpiece..why is it that men feel they won't be attractive if they are bald(ing)?

It is simply NOT true!

Maybe it wasn't a hairpiece, just a really weird hat?

Going back to the "quiet girls" comment, I will have to agree.  This is from personal experience.

Thank you.
