I had a vegemite sandwich once....

I prefer marmalade on toast. Or how about some eggs with fruity HP sauce?

Delish!

OH COME ON!

It's not that bad - YOU, you people who have never even TRIED the stuff - you have absolutely no ability to truly comment...pah...

Um Jamie - I have to contradict you...Vegemite is the sweeter one...and neither of them taste salty to me...not at all...I will eat Marmite...but I prefer Vegemite..

like anyone cares

Hey - but when I was in the states, I ate bloody waffles for breakfast with syrup and whipped butter. Good God! What are you people trying to do to your bodies eating that at 8am????? I do confess...I refused to eat the grits that Jamie tried to shove at me...(er - what are they again? I just remember you admitted they were gross...)

I agree with Severn -- Americans are so friggin' *boring* in their tastes. And I'm American!

Mike, who'd rather have Russian marmalade and roasted peppered duck legs than McSpawnold's anyday!

hey now, grits are pretty good. . . I tried them for the first time a long time ago just because I wanted to (I have a habit of trying things just for the heck of it. . . )

they're pretty good with a little bit of gravy on them. . . mmmmmm. . . or, you can have them with some nice homemade biscuits. . .

and, what's wrong with waffles??  I love waffles. . . and pancakes. . . with perhaps not that much syrup and butter. . .

but, there's nothing that can beat a good serving of chorizo and eggs wrapped in a flour tortilla with some cheese. . . the best. . .

Um C - the 'but' in your sentence indicates that you are suggesting that other places might not have such a diversE range of foods as your locale. Is that correct?

You are sadly mistaken...

K exits pompously...

well, not quite - Sven...grits are baaaad. Think bad. And by biscuits I'm assuming you mean scones.

AND I've finally figured something out. YOU guys get scones (biscuits) with your KFC AND you get your gravy in a separate container from your mashed potatoes...

so, you like pour the gravy over the scones (biscuits) as well as the potato! ~Applause for K~

We get the potato and the gravy mixed together you see...and bread rolls, not scones(biscuits).

I know - who cares, again..

actually your highness - it was indicative of disagreement regarding tastes. i could go out for dinner tonight and have a wide variety of foods - Mexican, Portuguese, Russian, Chinese, seafood, steaks, hamburgers, Indian food, Southern, Southwestern (and yes, there is a difference), Mandarin, Grill, Fancy, blah, blah, blah. The good foods already existed, so we just brought them here, then covered what was missing.

Good to see you're finally giving me the proper respect.

Well *I* can go out tonight and have Turkish, other middle eastern, Mandarin, Mexican, Tandoori, other Indian, Chinese, Thai, Japanese, Korean, Usual range of junk, steak grill, seafood buffet, pizza (blech) etc etc

So there.

And probably more I don't know about.

So there.
