Whispers sound like a bird’s song
Weaken my heart oh sweet song
Beneath words I can‘t hear
Is a melodious song

I fear what I do not know
Some times I don’t want to know.
As whispers always echo
I am lost in paranoia

So I bought a few earplugs
To mute the pain I wont hear

Beautiful, so poignant. I feel every word.

It is thus for all of us....we play hunter, but we are born to be hunted animals....our hearts tell us so every moment, and we don't hear.

I can relate to your poem.  Enjoying the sweet sound of the outdoors like the birds singing, but also fearing the future yet to come.  And, funny thing, I do use earplugs so I can sleep better.  So I fully relate to this whole poem.  I really liked it.
