Snow 09/10/04

White powdered snow lying softly on the ground, covering hard grey surfaces, the dulled tarmac of that car park. Drifts form around those lean black towers, artificial rays of light tumbling down, glistening pools of sparkling snow. Threadbare trees carry tribute to the snowfall, a smattering of purity upon those spindly branches; they whisper their aches and pains, echoes in the wind. Footprints lie there, set to be examined, the curious dance of a menagerie.

This was a most beautiful poem full of awesome imagery.  I could see the tree next door to me all covered in snow with its' groanings.  Snow is beautiful, but I sure hate the cold weather that comes with it  LOL.  Well done.
