For Bobby...

My wife is such a wonderful gal
She’s understanding and kind
We’re partners in all we do
It’s like we’re of one mind

We hardly ever argue and fight
But when we do she’s a jewel
She listens to my every word
Never makes me feel like a fool

I know she’s always right
That’s why she'll always win
It’s not worth the hassle to argue
So I stop before I begin

After one of our fights is over
She’ll get on her knees to me
I become her focus then
As she croons to me sweetly

“Honey don’t you want to talk?”
She’ll ask with a nod of her head
The reason she’s on her knees you see?
because I’m hiding under the bed!

Hehe! Really nice... so cute and fun! Too bad they can't all be trained that way, eh?

Oh, make me Thine forever
And should I fainting be
Lord, let me never ever
Outlive my love for Thee

There's a tactic I've never tried - I think this has merit... Climbing under the bed here...

LOL..Nan, it doesn't work with everyone. They have to come looking for you...you may be under the bed for a long time if the person you wait for gets side-tracked by something.

Right after sending my son to his room for some transgression, we looked for him and he wasn't in bed...he was about 5 or 6..we scoured the neighborhood for him..talked to his friends and were on the verge of calling the police (can you imagine how terrified I was?).

Where was he?

Under his bed asleep.

He crawled under there because he was mad at one of us...and fell asleep...

I was so relieved to find him that I forgot why he had been sent to his room!

I wonder if I can teach that trick to this "mouthy" cat of mine?  Bengals put a whole new meaning into, "Go to your room and shadup!"

I am watching my diagram and keeping my fingers crossed this hurricane is dyslexic like me maybe?  Ya neva know

Perfect!  Clever, lyrical... it even reminds me of something I'd have read from Balladeer, only... tasteful.

Thanks for giving me my smile for the day, PDV.
