"Everyone has to do his/her own thing.
It’s what they MUST do."

That’s what you said before going to bed,
and you were right.

So today, I shall not do what you want to do.
Instead, I am going ahead,
persuing my dream, my private time.
For I must do my own thing
before the final bell does ring.
For whom it tolls,
might be for me,
before dawn’s early light, you see.

And ‘twould not be right
for me to have spent my final moment
doing your thing, not mine.
Not that your special thing isn’t wonder-full.
It’s just that it belongs to you, not me.

Ok, girl...
who said it?

And who said you couldn't write like this...?

It's a giving heart that puts the ambitions and talents of one's self last...and others first.  I know, Kacy...

I know.

Well done, my friend.

I think there comes a time when we all have to chase our own dream; to have the forsight to see that, and the courage to do it, is a rare thing, well done!
