in the pouring rain

0 posted 2003-08-25 10:05 PM

winds hollow out her sunken eyes even more
brilliant blue takes her over as she falls
even more into the flooding rains
tears so silently wept as the corners fade
of a folded kiss she kept hidden away

the letters crease her old scars
that circle her eyes with a darkened glow
so tightly that she is restricted from who she was
but the past scares her more than her future
so she has neither but only a presence

the blood running down your face
only her tears with the pain inside
hidden from everyone that she loves and knows
yet this is not her want, not my want
your hand feels mine and mine feels yours
no longer do i ever feel scared in your eyes
only accepted as a haunted soul
with a vision to be held in front of me
while you take me with
a lonely mind one step before time

* the pouring rain kisses my lips with innocence as you look into my eyes *

More from you, please. You don't want to see a squirrel beg.

if you had roots, you'd be a tree. thats how we all know that things stay alive. maybe I'll make sense someday. then again..maybe not.

poetic perfection. we see blood everytime the pen bleeds.

insanity is not a crime
