two fingers spread
so my good eye peeks--
there's drums
I hear them
when you speak
as this moment digs the grave
rocking
rhythm'd
Africa....
where the wild things have no keep.

I know where the berries grow--
"Captain, would you plot the course?"
tell me tales of bravery
in the days when seas could drop
an ending
just like...that
