he calls me
overly diplomatic
and I laugh thinking
he doesn't know
the battles I've been through

But then,
he probably does
and sees right through me
he just wants to know
what I really think

What he doesn't know
is that I'm tired of thinking

Tired of thinking?  It's OK old man... grab a cup of tea and go unwind watching daytime television.  You'll find thought grows gradually less and less important.

You're a liar, too.  You're not tired of thinking.  You still love it, you always will, because love of thought is a trap that won't let you escape without teasing you as an outsider.  Your brain is the bullying leader of your own internal circle of peer pressure, and as soon as you're out of the loop, you'll feel dead for the rest of your life.

I hope this wasn't about me... haha... because I don't see right through you.  More often than not I just make the mistake of looking right past you.

In an emergency.

lol Raph grabs his cane and shakes it at Brian

I'm not a liar I am tired of thinking, but you are right about it being a trap and no I can't seem to stop. i just want some sleep, I want les theory more life..or at least more sex lol

It was inspired by our conversations and the reason you look past me is because inflated ego is known to cause vision impairment Phblllt!

(chuckling)....

sorry.. but I agree..thinking is over rated.

one should always reserve a bit of time for it, but not forget the way to stop it as well...

interesting piece Raph

"he just wants to know

I think we're all afraid of who can see through us.

Ignorance is bliss, eh?

You can think too much.. if you overthink, you miss out on some things, I think. Relax a bit. Don't be ignorant, but don't be lost either.

Oh, make me Thine forever
And should I fainting be
Lord, let me never ever
Outlive my love for Thee

Lordy I do hope you make it back into this place! Your work has an atmosphere that is such a counterpoint to the Hallmark pink that's often spread too thick here, and I miss it.
