Sometimes sitting next to you
Make me nervous, as my palm
Raining all over my pen-
A pen that write you my songs.

Dare to be vulnerable tonight,
As I sing in reminding myself.

As I sing softly to background

One word utter after another,
I tell you my little world and me.

Make me forget about boundaries.

I'm starting to like your style, Eliza, particularly the subject matter of your poetry. Vulnerability is something that people today seem to see as a sign of weakness most often, as something to be avoided, which causes us to shell ourselves away from one another in our "little worlds" as you say. It is a tragedy, yes, that so many people feel this way. There are many ways to overcome it, as you've done with your songs and poetry, and as you encourage others to do...

It's not a sign of weakness, but one of courage, to expose your soft underbelly to the world for the sake of honesty. You wrote it well.
