I kissed the mist
that carried the soul
of a heart so true
up into the blue…
and when I saw
bright sun shine through,
I kissed the mist,
said goodbye
to you.

Like seeing the sun reflecting off a skyscraper -- beautiful on the surface; damaging underneath.

An impressive comparison between a beautiful meteorological process and the human experience of death.  I'll be storing this in my library.

"If history is to change, let it change. If the world is to be destroyed, so be it. If my fate is to die, I must simply laugh"

Kacy,
You sure it wasn't the mister? Okay, now I'll go read this.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

LOL, Larry. I've no mister...not the two legged kind, not the little spray bottle for misting plants, either.
Yep, go read.
Need a mister for AZ yet?
Looks like AZ and CO will both be on drought alert this year. there's hardly any snow pack in the Rockies.

I very much like the flow of this.  The theme is simple, but important and you communicated it in a very simple way, which is very appropriate...

I like the image, and the clever sound of this.  Quite a treat to the ear.     Thanks for contributing to Sanctuary.

Gemma? I forgot about this write, thanks for refreshing it, as I liked this one myself, written as a gift for a friend.
