"So you think
you'll leave me now?"

His eyes were elegy--a song--
a dirge of note in monotone--

A zombie hoping for the dawn
of a shovel's scrape on lid...

"Leave you?",

You're already gone.

Your shovel makes another appearance.
Despite your body's stay-put,
your mind is in fine rebel.

Stay sane, k? Or, at the very least, pretend it like I do.

my friend... this cuts like the dull ached slash it represents.... well said...
and as Mike said..stay sane..or at least smile and keep them guessing as to whether you are or not...

hugs to you...
