It's as if
I had the hand
of Goddess over seas--
as if I could
calm ocean's waves--
everything
responds to me.

Surf in turn
to meet my palm--
I could make
a tide grow calm--
or rise to meet
hand's beckoning--
the curl of neck
of cat purring...

You do have that power! I like this..you should put it on a plaque on the wall near your computer.

(smiles) And you do possess and acquire that special ability, sweet friend, for all you need is love toaccomplish so much and you bring much comfort to all those around you who too love you so much! (sigh) This is fabulous, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Karen, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

naw...I was just trying to describe that Zen like place of "no thought"--it only happens to ME once in a great while--and hardly ever while writing...mostly when I am working in chalk pastels. (words tend to make me think, which sort of defeats the entire thing)

But thanks for humoring me!

I love cats.  I used to have one, but we had to get rid of him.  Figures, I was the only one in the house who liked him...   I'm definitely a cat person.

You think of commanding oceans when a cat is purring in your lap? I just think "La la la la la" with a stoned grin on my face.

Truly no thought.

I don't like cats. So, of course, it would figure that of all the animals, I would have a cat stuck inside me... *mutter*

The poem, however, was wonderful. I loved the imagery I took from it.
