Three Moons Rose Over Obsidian Peaks

in the midst of a jealous rift
time breathed a glimpse
of clarity careening
over the night,
as three moons rose
over obsidian peaks
that once marked
the way home
for a husband who will
never see his wife again

(god these are hard.. I need to catch up!)

It's harder when bsquirrel says GO and you have to type fast to beat him..I think he types with his hands AND his feet!

The race is long over. And I'm just gonna call Rain poem to the sea (or whatever it's called) my The Ocean Gave Her Quarters ....

Probably from years of piano lessons -- and writin' poetry.
