Gather round my Stuteous friends
For it will be told a tall tale
Of Andrew Scott, the Crayon King
And why he wears a Rooster's tail.

The Crayon King
Ruler East Wing
Was hangin' down at the Pub
Was cuttin' a rug
Was jitterin' the bug
Drinkin' blue gin by the tub

Then Justin N
With toothy grin
Did hit the remote most foul
And where danced the King
Was a thing with wing
A free range Foster Farms fowl

From there stuff got weird
The Jeanie they feared
Was the blink that caused it all
Then Drew flew the coop
Afraid of the soup
Being placed on the menu wall

To the basement he flew
In a blue gin stew
He laid dozens of egg sapphire
Then hatched was his plan
Against Justin Clan
An omelet 200 proof fire

Dawning a disguise
To fool Justin eyes
Two rubber gloves Andrew did sport
With both of them red
Put one on his head
The other Drew stuck to his port

But plans went awry
The clan did not buy
The remote Andrew failed to get
The only prize won
Was the spell Jinn spun
Making Drew's disguise permanent

So now you know why
King Rooster am I
In these feathers I strut the Stute
The only good thing
Being Rooster King
Is Red thinks my cocktail is cute.

But soft what rooster crows this morn
in colored guise of feathers fowl
It is the king " Andrew the wise "
who seeks the " Lady Red " forlorn .

And I the humble " Doc " wouldst set
this heinous wrong again to rights
concentrate oh my king my friend
and focus on this bauble bright

You're getting sleepy roostered one
your eye-lids feel as if of lead
I'll count to three and when 'tis done
we'll have a look inside your head !

GADZOOKS ! The problem's obvious !
No poult you are , you're one of us !
Discard that rubber helm and stern
your keep it's time that you must earn
Resume your former self post-haste
a stew awaits your sense of taste
for without such it's gone real flat
and I know who I'm talking at
you are no rooster , yes it's true
you're freed from feathers ," Sir Andrew "

This was a VERY VERY fun read. Nicely written....what an exceptional piece!

Quite original.
I really enjoyed it, the tone is marvelous, it made me smile.
