~* Her Promise Of Spring *~
@Mysteria 2/2002

Play Someday Soon Song

I see her dancing with the buds of waiting.
She steps and turns in her elegant flourish,
shaping our dreams in forest green,
sprouting shoots of hyacinth, snowdrops,
and making room for tulips and daffodils.

Her delicate fingers cup their
budding faces as she whispers secrets
into their blossoming ears.
She wraps her arms around a barren
tree creating the birth of its fruit.

Her long train captures debris
left in neglect on shores of oceans,
and she gently kisses the shoreline
giving it life once more.

This long awaited visitor of beauty
skips on the green and velvet hereafters,
atop the crabgrass and dandelions.
And for a single moment I see
all of her promises of spring.

Please send her right after the Iditarod.  Early April would be nice. Glad to see your muse back in business.

I do believe I have to start a whole new wing in my library, just to hold an aisle of Special Keepers...

for this surely belongs there...

I was thinking this beauty of healing and rebirth could be a Willow poem as well...
your presentations are always so lovely...so polished and done to poetic perfection...sight and sound you touch all our senses
Beautiful Sharon.

Cathlyn ~ Oh you found us!  Welcome to Passions and I hope everyone will go and check out your wonderful website.  I am looking so forward to seeing you post here.  Thanks for coming and joining.

Vandana ~ Thank you so much.

Kate ~ cause I picked the picture first this time for Willow's Sunday poem.  Thanks dear friend.

Nancy ~ Your opinion means a lot to me, thank you.

JM ~ It was for her, and thank you for even connecting that it could have been.  The cherry or plum (not sure) trees are all in bud here, and of course it created the memory of how much she used to love them here.  Thank you for your heart.

Shhhhhhhhh. *G* Around here, spring usually lasts only a moment before summer's heat and humidity wring the very life from us. *S* But what a glorious moment it is. *S*

This is beautiful, Mysteria... your words paint the promise of renewal exquisitely. *S*
