Just Today

It's been a year since I have seen,
The sweet smile of my son.
It's been too long since I have felt,
The bright rays of the sun.
But just today, I felt the love,
Of Jesus, God's own son.

It's been a year since you have seen,
A smile upon my face..
It's been too long since I have felt,
My loving sons embrace.
But just today I felt the love,
Of Gods eternal grace.

It's been a year since my eyes,
Have not shed a tear.
It's been too long since I have felt,
Your love, It's been a year.
But just today my Lord above,
He wiped away each tear.

Wonderfully written, Floria. Such a sweet message. I'm glad that you still have God's son to ease the pain of losing your earthly son. May God's grace surround you. Cheryl
