caged...
wild beast pounds me
to slow death
trying to get out
i fight for breath
only to find suffocation
the ceiling moves down
upon my head
pushing me to the floor
i try to resist
but strength is not in me...
     caged...
gasping...i need to breathe
i lie down on my back
easy to give up
here
on the bottom
          but keep watching
strength will come
     strength will come
when the poison tears
     finally escape...
i am here for a reason
on the bottom
     i catch my breath
     and push off
rocketing back to the top...
this rock bottom
cannot possess me

thanks for reading!  rock bottom is not an easy place to be...but i think the glide down may be painful then the actual bottom...at least at the bottom, i have something to push off of..
