The heart of you

0 posted 2002-02-11 04:50 PM

Fear not, Night Star
For I, your Moon, shall return to you soon
To shine again brightly in the sky of your eyes.
Soon shall you again feel me moving across
The dark expanse of your now lonely heart,
Waxing and waning with each beat
Of sorrowful melody that flows.
The light of my beamed touch
Will press its fingers of love onto that place,
And fill it again with the brilliance
Of my love for you, my Night Star.
A brilliance, that without your light, my love,
Was forever cold and lost in the galaxy's vacuum.
Your light brought me out of that place
And showed me that I could shine again anew
For all the universes of life to see.

So again, my Night Star,
The sorrowful melody that you once knew
Now plays joyfully in our duet of the Spheres.
We fly again cross the sky on Pegasus' wings.
The Pleiades wave in envy as we fly past,
And Orion himself bows his sword to our love.
As we unite once again on that Final Horizon,
I take a meteor from the sky for your hand,
For no less a fiery jewel could grace you.
We are again nova my love, shimmering
And the shining jewel that is our love
Blazes bright still for poets and dreamers.

Once again, we now sleep, the night our home.

What light through yon window breaks?  It is the east, and Juliet is the sun.

Resting in orbit...
Well done!

Fool, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write.

You, My Dear, are just lovely. Did ya know?

I tried to find a favorite line in here, but I would have copy/pasted the whole poem into my response if I it were possible.  This poem is filled with beautiful images, Sir. I adore it!

I am many.
