Your Touch

Wrapping your sweetness around me
your warm lips kiss me awake
I feel your love embrace my soul
my flame is yours to take

you captured my heart on the day we met
your love reached out to mine
from the moment we first glimpsed each other
we felt our passion shine

as our fingertips laced together
so deep, this unexpected feeling
the tendrils of our fire blazed
two hearts, one love, our senses reeling

as I feel the warmth of your grey green gaze
I'll cherish your touch for the rest of our days

Nancy, Karen and Amusemi......thanks so much for your replies.  I will certainly convey your birthday wishes to David.
David is a vegetarian, and he also doesn't eat any dairy...so I can't just make him a normal birthday cake.  I have to be a bit inventive.  Do you think he will like some talking brocoli?
