Talk about all the radio static that you get
people that butt into arguements and continually fret
We could talk about mother-in-laws meddling
or talk about the harangue of sales people peddling.

Imagine wrapping all the interferences into a box
paying the charges and sending it off to the locks,
if we could do these shipments regularly on sundry days
would that keep us from accumulating static in any way?

We try to keep clearer heads and avoid mental harangues
often we're in the midst of family differences and bang
there goes self-composure when somebody distant
interferes
and losing our inner peace which which is never any nearer.

but what do you do if your mind swallowed a radio set
with no control, your self-composure would really be upset
how would you be able to select the channels that you wanted
and the constant static in your mind would leave you
haunted?
