Been walking for a time,
nowhere special, today…
Just anywhere I guess,
wanting to leave, go away…

Been great while it lasted,
now the pain is too much…
My being hurts deeply,
perhaps needing a retouch…

So I’m going to be going,
somewhere down the road…
It’s a shame it happened,
for it was only borrowed…

I can relate. Sometimes I just want to leave. Just go without knowing where I'm going..because I just can't stay..It's that hurt and uneasy feeling in your heart.

Bill, many truths are sad. Happiness is a borrowed luxury that has to be given back when we are enjoying it the most, it appears.

Bill - I think we all like to get away for little while after we are hurt by someone or something. It is shame we can't feel good all the time. Very good write.

Wow very very heartfelt Bill, for some reason, when I am very upset, that is what I do. Go out the door and walk and think and walk and think...It does help, and oh well, God walks with me, and I love the outdoors so much..much feeling here.
