When the music doesn't calm
and the tears break the flood barriers
I seek my comfort in the arms of your voice.
Ilove you so grandly that all my words
will never do.
I love you so passionately that I'll never be able to do without you.
Iam in no position to doubt what my heart wants
because there is no tame distraction
that will calm my spirit from needing you so much.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Do you like me?
I would have written my own answers to that
if I had known you when growing was our full time occupation
instead of our jobs.
Could there have been a cirle
passionately so
yes or no
or marry me now
Oh could there have been that one and only place
for my heart to circle so largely
that you could feel it before i passed back the note?
And I'm rambling because you do that to me
and this is what my writing has become
since I have known the in and out of our love.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Wonderfully
Romantically
Beautifully
Wonderously
Thrillingly
Enthusiastically
I am yours.
And I have no choice
since my heart had its say over my mind.
This is bad poetry
but I love you for it
because without you I wouldn't be able to say these things.

For all who watch.Dare you say hello? Come in and ask the questions that are on your mind, but spare me your judgement until you truly sipped of me.

(smiles) Ooohhhhhh...I don't think this is bad at all, your love poetry always makes me smile and it is always such a delight to read! (kiss on cheek) The best way to describe love is always sincerely, and you always do that so well, we're all sooooo proud of you and love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Jenn, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

I can sure connect with those last three lines...sometimes my mind says to me "what the heck are you writing"...but my heart is encouraging me to let it flow...James

Wonderful Jenn, as though you are thinking  aloud.  I love it!  And, it is what poetry is all about.

everyone knows that I just hate love poetry. . . (especially the cliche and sickening kind!!!)

this is wonderful. . . it's from the heart and from the soul. . . and that's where all good poetry has it's start. . .
