Blind my eyes
To things I wish I couldn’t see
Steal the vision
Of his leaving me

Mute my hearing
Dissolve the sound of good bye
Silence these words
That make me cry

Clear my mind
Fade this melancholy reminisce
Void the recalling
Of his passionate kiss

Ease my soul
Dull this unending ache I feel
Numb these emotions
Allow me to heal

Healing begins when we ask it to come in.  And the watch begins to move.

Thank you.

This is almost a mantra of determination Sue, and ouch, I've been there, and will probably be there again...grin.

A painful read that I hope is not based in your present reality.

Susan,

This perfectly describes exactly how I feel about a lost love.  You've said this so well.  Thank you, sweetie.  (((hugs)))

Lovely, yet sad Sue.  I have learned...that in order to heal, we first must forgive.

Susan--Time is the great healer...but while waiting for it, it sure hurts.  You've expressed it well!
