When Words We Whisper Flame In Vain |

when words we whisper flame in vain when words we whisper flame in vain how must we shine brighter through the rain? must we chance another scream, to try again... must we whisper some more, yet die within? when words we whisper flame in vain on the deaf-mute ears of an absent friend, must we strike back with deeper silence, a quarter for every dime, sorrow for a pence? when words we whisper flame in vain to die out, drowned, in an encompassing pain must we store them, tagged, ever unforgotten; unburied degrees to a song with the same refrain? when words we whisper flame in vain on a rut from sunrise to sundown,limbo between should we yet seek to drown,in the taste the sound our hearts might make, in falling down? oh, tell me now, in grand words or vile, before grey cynicism cramp this sunset's style, what aspect of the day must i unfailingly obtain, so words of love i whisper do not flame in vain? ray 2.08.02 |

ugh...i've never written this much since i was in high school. ngee..that was fifteen years ago. i blame you all  people in here have so much soul, and you are all so contagious. most of the time, i take peeks at what all of you write, and oh my Lord, i don't even have words for what you evoke inside my soul... like i said...i blame YOU all! ~btw, thank U! ray |
