Beyond The End

Hidden amongst life's shadows
in the ebb of conscious being
lies a place without time and a time without place
all knowing and all seeing

when the road of life has reached it's end
where footsteps trod no more
at the gateway to eternity
a place where spirits soar

in the boundless sweep of forever
where time and space can't be explained
ruled by light and justice
where peace and beauty reign

at the crossroads of past and future lives
insight too vast to comprehend
are the echoes of souls at peace
resting forever, beyond the end

Lyra, this has real healing powers. Thank you. For every end here there must be a beginning somewhere else, even when we cannot see or feel it.

Martin, Keth...and Kacy, thanks so much for your replies, and I hope that you are right, about there being another beginning beyond the end.  That would be a very comforting thought, indeed.

Larry and Pepper...I'm so glad that I wrote something that inspired you.  That makes me feel empowered.

Sue, Vandana, Sy, Newell, Sandra, Noah, and Charisma......thank you all for your wonderful replies.

A nice place to be,
at the gateway of eternity.
You've got such a talented pen

is there a Heaven's gate, where all souls are equal in Eyes, where peace is commonplace, and where love is abundant?
You must have seen it to write so beautifully about it.  Take me next time, will you?
