This poem had a difficult birth, LOL, I think it was breach..

Castle Of Glass

She gazes through her walls of polished glass,
Her eyes on distant lands so lush and sweet.
She tries to hide the yearnings but alas.
With crystal, castle walls can't be discreet.

Her longing Knight peers through her lucid walls.
His ardent love for her he cannot hide.
It matters not, his longing or his calls.
For she will never love him as his bride.

And thus, he trusted her with all his might.
With another's heart she was now smitten.
While he in torment hoped she would transform.
She remained cold, as the letter she had written.

Shattered and in tears, his soul now exposed.
For with all his being, he loved her from the start.
The door to her heart, for him she had closed.
Determined forever, they would be apart.

Alone in isolation, in her transparent castle.
She remains open, for all the world to see.
And waits still for her mysterious Knight .
To rescue and cherish her, setting her free.

Floria darling girl I suppose you think that I’m going to praise you to the skies? Hmmm? …….. Well, of course I am, this is utterly utterly wonderful as YOU very well know.

So much shown here, how no matter how much we want someone to love us if they don’t we can’t make them. Also shows that some people simply are blind no matter how clear a thing is to see. Wonderful analogy darling girl truly outstanding writing

That'll be how I end up if I'm not careful. Why does love have to be so tough?

This is extremely beautiful and romantic, Floria.  It seems as if this would be a good home for the Ice Princess
and people who live in glass castles shouldn't throw stones.
