Without a Dream 2

Without a dream the day is never done
Without a dream the night would be no fun
Without a scheme the weary stays rerun
Without a dream

To fly away and leave this life of bore
To fly away into the evermore
To fly away and have what I adore
Just fly away.

I touch the things that life can never bring
I hear a song that I could never sing
I have a love that goes beyond the spring
I hear a song.

When things go wrong I flap my wings and fly
When things go wrong I am a butterfly
If not for this I think that I would die
When things go wrong.

So sigh a sigh and let your mind to stray
Just close your eyes and have a dream today
Don’t ask you why and you’ll be on your way
Just close your eyes.

Seymour~
I just woke up ... and here you are telling me it's okay to 'close my eyes' ...

'So sigh a sigh and let your mind to stray
Just close your eyes and have a dream today
Don’t ask you why and you’ll be on your way
Just close your eyes.'

I like the way you operate !

Wherever there are dreams there is magic, and wherever there is magic all wishes come true.  Oh I loved this, and to me there is nothing better than closing my eyes and simply drifting to somewhere.  You wrote this so well, and I loved the form, the last lines of each stanza stuck in my mind, so will go now and dream them away.  Loverly!

If you dream those things that life never seems to touch often enough, they have a habit of coming true, if you can recognize and accept them. Nicely done.

Ah Sy!  Lovely words! Without dreams thoughts would be vacant of the seedlings of creativity. Dreams always play such a prominent role in the artistic view of observing this life we lead.
Well done my friend!

Yes, we all need dreams don’t we? They make the harsh realities of life a little softer sometimes. And you know, sometimes, those dreams really do come true. A quote from a song of my youth, and one that has always been close to my heart:
You’ve got to have a dream
If you don’t have a dream
How’re you going to have a dream come true?

If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please?
