Prepare

A double saddle mounts today
I have a place in mind to go
It is only a dream away
A Randy flight an hour or so

Over mountains to valleys green
Through shadows of nights darkest blue
Through wind and rain and in between
O’er the moon and its silver hew.

It’s a flight that only we can make
The compass in our minds will guide
It’s a flight that we both must take
The other side, mundane abides

We’ve done it before we’ll do it again
This haven where we come to stay
It’s a den of love I made with a pen
And a place where we both can play

An oasis for thee and me
Where we can sip our favorite tea.

Hey Sy!

This place sounds oh so pleasant! Can I stop in and have a cup of tea with you?
I wouldn't want to interrupt anything though!
Nice work as usual!

I am like the perverbial boy or girl scout ...
always ready ... always prepared.
You know I'll fly with you anywhere ...
can we go somewhere never before dared?

I am packed and ready to take wing,
I've brought along extra raspberry tea.
We will sip on the shores of evermore
you can paint the scene serene whilst I pen poetry.

Name the time and the place...I'll be on time.
Who could ever resist your invitation of rhyme divine.

A beautiful fantasy flight, Sy...please save me a sip of that raspberry tea.
But I am always dieting, so you can keep the burgers and fries.

I don't really understand who Randy is..I occasionally  see him in your writings..but I loved the feel of this :

Over mountains to valleys green
Through shadows of nights darkest blue
Through wind and rain and in between
O’er the moon and its silver hew.

..I think I  shall be  seeing this view tonight..

loved this!

I think I shall review once more
& let imagination soar
a journey no one else can see
but the talented poet & me...
