I'm back:

Rock Metronome

An angry sea rocks metronome
Plays havoc with my stomachs dwell.
Hypnotic chaotic foam
With frothy swells and swooping wells.

And devil winds chariot clouds
Racing the wildest tease to
Horizons encircling shrouds
Over mad periscopic seas.

Muted by my wall of share
Much to thick to crawl beyond.
With Freudian bars of bear
And Gordian knot as bond.

Tethering all things my wings
Little room for sort surcease
For each would be has its stings
Inseparable to my peace.

Gazing in confusions mouth
I speed to malaise and south.

Seymour~
You KNOW you've done it right when readers choose the same impressive lines~

'And devil winds chariot clouds
Racing the wildest tease to
Horizons encircling shrouds
Over mad periscopic seas.'

Poetic perfection on your 'periscopic seas', my friend~

Seems like the devil made ya do it, and there's no point in putting to it the fact that Randy, Stinky and Janet Marie should sit alone drinking raspberry tea...

Seymour, I love the poem, and I love the way your words just flow on. Your poetry is so easy to read, It's like you start reading and then you just take the ride to the end. Just flowing along. Great. floria

Hi Sy..so sorry about your cruise...I guess they should give you a simulated experience first, just to see if you have a sea worthy stomach.  Glad to see you back..and of course I loved your poem!
