An elf with the best of intention
Thought it only fair that she should mention
The needs of a friend
So she picked up her pen
And sent a note to Santa’s attention.

Santa, both generous and kind
Said of course she wouldn’t mind
If something she had
Made another heart glad
Then to giving it, she was inclined.

But the recipient decided to wait
Relief was soon coming her way
So she put forth my name
And asked if the same
Offer to me could be made.

These words don’t make much of a "pome"
But dictionaries I’ve combed
I still don’t know how
To give enough thanks that now
suthern’s able to post this from home.

My heartfelt and eternal gratitude to a trio of magnificent ladies... This is the first time in 2 weeks I've sat up for any length of time except for those hours the werk monster controlled my every action. *S* Hopefully, I'll be back to health soon so I can thoroughly enjoy your generosity instead of counting the minutes until my next drag on the inhaler. *S* Meanwhile, many many thanks.

Your "pome" is written with a pen of sweet sincerety and matters not to its "poetic content"
Tis thanks enough to see you FINALLY posting from home (in your jammies I hope)
I'm so glad the whole "computer pass along" worked out this way...Sunshine and Mysteria's elfin magic will in the end be all of our gifts in that one of Passions most gracious readers will again be able to reply to our work.
And? My "new" computer is soon on its way as well....so meant to be has all come to be
Thank you for this kindness Ruthie...take care of you and feel better soon.
AND...Remember...hot Raspberry tea ... nectar of the gods and one heck of throat soother (honey - lemon too)

indeed, they are fabulous poets/women, all three.  I love to see someone honored like this, especially when it is so well deserved.  Thank you hon.

Ahhhh, thank you sweet Suthern gal.  The main thing is now to get you feeling better so you can use that gifting of Santa, who is sitting here with a grin as big as Texas.  There was a method to the madness and now you can not only comment, but see the pretty pictures, and listen to the music too   I can't wait until you are feeling better so you can use that new toy of yours but for now, the main thing is YOU, so take care and get lots of rest.  Hugs to you sweetie.

Startime, Mistletoe Angel, Nan, PDV, Enchantress, Greeneyes, Irish Rose & Rose Petal: Thank you all so very much... Your kind comments on the poem and your well wishes are both greatly appreciated. *S*

Janet Marie: I guess it's time for a terrible confession. *G* I love raspberries, but hate anything raspberry flavored... can I stick with Nan's soup... please??? *G* Thank you, lady... I hope your new computer arrives soon with every bell and whistle you could ever imagine or hope for. *S*

Mysteria: Feeling better would be heaven... but as PDV said, I already know several angels... and am grateful for the way they've touched my life. *S* Thank you, Santa... lungs full of fluid can't keep this heart from being filled with gratitude. *S*
