A State of Disarray

0 posted 2002-02-03 02:35 AM

No poem can express
No song would dare impress
The thought of love denied
Or how I feel inside

It woke in deadly hour
My life a wilted flower
And stretched me into life
To face this endless strife

This reeks of failures plight
No chance of hearts delight
Yet glad I'll always be
You sought to rescue me

Freedom will I give
My heart an empty sieve
For you will walk away
Silence begs for you to stay

And so it goes my friend
The beginning of the end
I will wake again this morn
Engage my heart in love's sojourn

Oh peppermint, I am so sorry to hear you are having a tough time.  I am probably the last person to give heartfelt advice right now..that "I'd rain on your parade" kind of thing.  But I hope it gets better and I will think of you.

B.C.-Thanks for your caring.  I'm not okay.  But I'll buck up and make it okay.  I still need to answer your challenge!!!
