Imagined my body floating
weightless in peace with
myself and my vexation...
yet i drowned for in reality
i was heavy with burden.
To seek that serenity
proved in vain.
For when my mind is a storm
clarity will not emerge.
I think, maybe just maybe,
I'm meant to feel betrayed
at this moment.
Therefore
I can truly savor the
time when i can smile
with no regrets or troubles
and that just might be the
freeing that my mind needs.
That thought and that
hope that all will be
well.
